Stop Guessing. Start Testing.
Problems we solve
Energy leaves a house through a small number of paths. Testing them takes a few hours and turns a guess into a list.
Sound familiar?
Most houses lose energy in a handful of places, and they’re usually not the places people spend money on first. New windows get bought while an open attic chase moves more air than the windows ever did.
The point of testing is to put the spending in the right order. Sometimes that means we tell you the cheap fix is the one worth doing, and the expensive one can wait.
What people tell us
You don’t have to have all of these. One is enough to be worth testing.
What usually causes it
These are the causes we find most often. Our testing reveals what those causes are.
Air leakage you can’t see or feel
open chases, dropped soffits and attic penetrations move far more air than the drafty window you notice.
Ducts losing air outside the living space
means you’re paying to heat and cool an attic or a crawlspace.
Equipment that can’t perform as designed
runs longer for the same result, whatever its efficiency rating says on the label.

How we find it
We choose the tests based on your house and what it’s doing. Not every house needs every test.
Puts a number on the total air leakage and shows us where the big holes actually are.
Show which duct runs are leaking to an attic, crawlspace or other unconditioned area — the air you paid to heat and cool.
Finds missing, thin or bypassed insulation, which a visual inspection from the attic hatch will not.
Airflow and static pressure, to see whether the equipment can do what it was sold as doing.
What you get
One to three days after the visit you get a video Home Performance Report — a walkthrough of your own house showing what we tested, what it means, and what we’d do about it, in the order we’d do it.
In your report folder
Then it’s your call. Do it yourself, hand the report to your own contractor, or have us manage the work. See what an inspection covers.
