Problems we solve
Uneven temperatures are a symptom, not a mystery. Something is moving heat or air where you don’t want it, and that can be tested for.
Sound familiar?
Heat moves and air moves, and both follow paths through the house that aren’t obvious from the thermostat. A bedroom that won’t hold temperature is often being fed by a duct in a hot attic, or pulling air from a crawlspace two floors below.
That’s why adding insulation or replacing equipment sometimes changes nothing. Until you know which path the heat and air are taking, any fix is a guess — an expensive one.
What people tell us
You don’t have to have all of these. One is enough to be worth testing.
What usually causes it
These are the causes we find most often. Our testing reveals what those causes are.
Air leaking in from somewhere unconditioned
an attic, a crawlspace, an attached garage — so one room spends all day fighting the outdoor temperature.
Ductwork that doesn’t deliver evenly
leaves one room short of the air it needs while another gets more than it can use.
Insulation with gaps in it
a knee wall, a floor over the garage, an open attic hatch — heat leaves faster in that one place than anywhere else.

How we find it
We choose the tests based on your house and what it’s doing. Not every house needs every test.
Shows the cold and hot patterns in the walls, ceilings and floors of the room you’re complaining about.
Puts a number on whole-house air leakage, and helps us find the openings behind the comfort problem.
Show which duct runs are most connected to unconditioned space, so we can tell whether the room is being underfed by a leaking duct.
Show how air moves between floors and rooms when doors close and the system runs.
What you get
One to three days after the visit you get a video Home Performance Report — a walkthrough of your own house showing what we tested, what it means, and what we’d do about it, in the order we’d do it.
In your report folder
Then it’s your call. Do it yourself, hand the report to your own contractor, or have us manage the work. See what an inspection covers.
